Welcome to my brand‑new website! After spending years on social media platforms that come and go, I wanted a home base where I could share my baking adventures, food reviews and Pokémon musings without worrying about algorithms or ads. With Neocities offering free static hosting and an easy HTML editor【853787457971875†L16-L24】, I finally took the plunge.
Building this page from scratch taught me that HTML is just text inside
boxes【330801898782740†L155-L163】. By grouping content inside elements like
<header>, <nav>,
<main> and <footer>【822330352554558†L600-L617】,
I can create a structure that's easy for visitors and screen readers to
navigate【337608755513633†L64-L86】. CSS lets me style those boxes to
reflect my personality — warm colours, clean typography and a responsive
layout.
